Alpine German-Speaking Mission

In our church, we believe in the literal gathering of Israel, and in the restoration of the 10 tribes. I am honored to play a part in the gathering process. However great or small my contribution may be, I know that this is a fulfillment of many prophecies. " That  then  the  Lord  thy  God  wi ll  turn  thy  captivity ,  and  hav e  compassion  upon  thee,  and  wi ll  return  and  gather  thee  from   all  the  nations,  whither  the  Lord  thy  God  hath  scattered  th ee." Everyday i receive a confirmation of the truthfulness of the work that we are doing. Sometimes i feel like one of the sons of Mosiah. When we think of their missionary efforts we usually think of ammon and aaron. But sometimes we forget about the missionaries like Himni! There are no stories of him converting a king, or converting thousands, but he too was a missionary, and took part in the work of the Lord. That is all that he asks us to do. Do our part in hastening the work of salvation. The work will go forth!
